Trish Crossin, Australian politician and senator for the Northern Territory from 1998 to 2013, died on April 13, 2026, of a heart attack.

Born Patricia Margaret Crossin in Melbourne on March 21, 1956, she was educated at Deakin University, where she graduated in education. She worked as a teacher and later as an industrial officer with the National Tertiary Education Union from 1996 to 1998.

In 1998, she was appointed to fill a casual Senate vacancy created by the resignation of Bob Collins, and she served as Deputy Opposition Whip in the Senate from 2001 to 2004.
