Feng Yufang, a Chinese engineer and major general, and a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, died on April 13, 2026.
He was born in Yuyao, Zhejiang, on January 29, 1963. After graduating from Yuyao High School in 1979, he was admitted to the National University of Defense Technology, where he majored in applied physics.
He joined the Communist Party in September 1985, and after university in 1987 enlisted in the People’s Liberation Army and was dispatched to the Fourth Research Institute of the Second Artillery Corps.
