Srećko Bogdan, a Croatian footballer and former professional defender, died on April 8, 2026, at the age of 69.
Born in Mursko Središće, Croatia, FPR Yugoslavia, he began his career with NK Rudar Mursko Središće before moving to MTČ Čakovec and starting his senior career in 1973. He later played for Dinamo Zagreb and Karlsruhe.
Bogdan also represented both former Yugoslavia and Croatia at international level, earning 11 caps for Yugoslavia and two for Croatia, and scoring one goal for Croatia. He later worked as a youth coach at NK Inter Zaprešić.
