Mohammed Washah, a Palestinian journalist, died on April 8, 2026, after an Israeli airstrike targeted the vehicle he was in while driving in Gaza City.
He was 39–40 and worked for Al Jazeera. Born in 1986 in the Al-Bureij refugee camp, Washah studied medical laboratory analysis before turning to journalism in 2006.
He worked for Al-Aqsa TV, later for TRT World from 2010 to 2014, and joined Al Jazeera in 2018.
