
Dinah Christie, a Canadian actress and singer known for Party Game, died on April 10, 2026, at the age of 83.
Born Dinah Barbara Christie in London, England, she came to Canada at age 2 with her parents, actors Robert and Margot Christie, and grew up in Toronto. She worked at the Stratford Festival from age 13, became an apprentice there in 1960 and performed in Toronto in 1961.
Before she was out of her teens, she had been cast in small roles at Stratford. She also sang as a folk singer in her teens while attending North Toronto Collegiate Institute.
