Celeste Dupuy-Spencer, an American painter, died on April 10, 2026.
Born in New York City in 1979, she received a BFA from Bard College in 2007 and was based in Los Angeles. She began exhibiting in 2007, including collaborations with Ridykeulous Project.
Her work was included in Queer Fantasy at Morán Morán in Los Angeles in 2015, and she had solo shows at Nino Mier Gallery in 2016 and 2018 and at Marlborough Gallery in 2017. Her work also appeared in the 2017 Whitney Biennial and the Hammer Museum’s 2018 exhibition Made in L.A.
