G. Kershaw in Littleborough, Lancashire, on 9 November 1959, he worked predominantly in radio from 1981 to 2026. Kershaw was known for his interest in world music, and his shows featured country, blues, reggae, folk music, African music, spoken word performances and other music from around the world.
