Dory Selinger, an American cyclist and Paralympic champion, died on April 16, 2026, after being struck by a vehicle while riding near his home in McKinney, Texas.

He was 54. Selinger was a former Paralympic cyclist and world record holder who competed in international cycling competitions.

He won Paralympic and three-time world championships in track cycling and competed at the 1996 and 2000 Summer Paralympics.
