Roscoe Robinson, an American gospel and soul singer, died on February 26, 2026, at age 97.
Born in Dermott, Arkansas, in 1928, he recorded as a gospel solo artist in the 1950s with Trumpet Records and also sang with the Five Trumpets, Highway QCs and The Fairfield Four. He later began recording secular soul in the 1960s and had two charting hits: “That’s Enough” in 1966 and “Do It Right Now” in 1967.
Robinson returned to gospel recording in the 1980s and continued releasing albums into the 2000s.
