Patrice Jeener, a French artist and copper engraver who specialised in work of a mathematical nature, died on March 13, 2026.

Born on July 31, 1944, he studied at the Lycée Janson de Sailly and later, in 1963, at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts. Influenced by the engravings of Maurits Escher and Flake’s treatise on curvilinear perspective, he exhibited at the Palais de la Découverte and the Institut Henri Poincaré.

He lived and worked in La Motte-Chalancon, in Provence.

Patrice Jeener (31 July 1944 – 3 March 2026) was a French artist and copper engraver, specialising in work of a mathematical nature.
