Odd Holten, a Norwegian politician and member of parliament from 1989 to 2005, died on March 13, 2026.
He was born in Øre on 28 August 1940 and represented the Christian Democratic Party. Holten was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Østfold in 1989 and was re-elected on three occasions.
He served as President of the Lagting from 1997 to 2001. He was also a member of the executive committee of Fredrikstad city council from 1975 to 1989 and of Østfold county council from 1983 to 1987.
