Eili Sild, an Estonian stage, film, television and radio actress, died on March 13, 2026.
Born in Tallinn on October 26, 1942, she began her career on the theatre stage in the early 1960s and worked as an actress from 1962 to 2026. She studied at the Tallinn 7th Secondary School, graduating in 1961, and later attended the Tallinn Feature and Newsreel Film Studio, graduating in 1963.
Sild also studied acting at the Lunacharsky State Institute for Theatre Arts in Moscow, graduating in 1976. She performed with the Ugala theatre in Viljandi from 1963 to 1980, with intermissions, before joining Vanalinnastuudio in Tallinn in 1980 and later working as a freelance actress.
