Kim Bowers, an Australian musician, music director and sound artist associated with Spdfgh, died on April 24, 2026, of breast cancer.
Bowers was a founding member of Spdfgh, an Australian rock band active from 1990 to 1997. The band was formed with Liz Payne, Tania Bowers, Melanie Thurgar and Angela Morosin, and the original members began playing together at St.
Patrick’s College in Campbelltown, southwest of Sydney.
