Donald Riegle, an American politician who served in the U.S.

House of Representatives from 1967 to 1976 and in the Senate from 1976 to 1995, died on April 24, 2026, at age 88 of cardiac arrest. Born in Flint, Michigan, on February 4, 1938, he was also an author and businessman from Michigan.

He earned degrees from the University of Michigan–Flint and Michigan State University before working as a financial analyst for IBM from 1961 to 1964.
