Michael Baroody, an American lobbyist, died on April 11, 2026, at the age of 79.

Born in Washington, D.C., on September 14, 1946, he graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1968 and served in the United States Navy from 1968 to 1970. He began his career in 1970 in the Washington office of Nebraska Senator Roman Hruska.

Baroody later held posts at the Republican National Committee, the White House under President Ronald Reagan, and the U.S. Department of Labor.
