Magaly Achach Solís, a Mexican politician and former mayor of Benito Juárez Municipality, died on April 10, 2026, at the age of 71.
She served as mayor from 1999 to 2002 and was a member of the Chamber of Deputies from 1991 to 1994. Achach also served twice in the Congress of Quintana Roo.
A teacher by occupation, she was a member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party and died in Cancún.
