David Mena, an Israeli politician and lawyer who served as a member of the Knesset from 1992 to 1996, died on April 18, 2026, at the age of 73.
Born in Or Yehuda in 1953, he served in the Israel Defense Forces, studied law at Tel Aviv University and was certified as a lawyer. Mena also studied criminology and international relations at Bar-Ilan University and social services management at Brandeis University.
He served on the Ramat Gan local council from 1978 to 1987, was a member of the Israel Broadcasting Authority’s plenum from 1984 to 1988, and was elected to the 13th Knesset in 1992 on behalf of the Likud party.
