Brad Arnold, the American singer and lead vocalist of 3 Doors Down, died on February 7, 2026, at age 47.

Born Bradley Kirk Arnold in Escatawpa, Mississippi, on September 27, 1978, he co-founded the rock band in 1996 with Todd Harrell and Matt Roberts. Arnold also served as the band’s onetime drummer.

3 Doors Down rose to prominence with its 2000 single “Kryptonite,” which Arnold wrote at age 15 while in high school. The band also recorded “Here Without You” and “When I’m Gone,” both of which were among its best-known songs.

Bradley Kirk Arnold (September 27, 1978 – February 7, 2026) was an American singer. In 1996, he co-founded the rock band 3 Doors Down with Todd Harrell and Matt Roberts, serving as its lead vocalist.
