Vicki Wickham, the English talent manager and television producer known for her work on Ready Steady Go!, died on July 31, 2026, aged 87.

Born in England in 1939, she worked as an assistant producer on the 1960s British music programme and later served as a fashion consultant for The Modโ€™s Monthly. Wickham was best known for managing Dusty Springfield and Labelle, and she also helped shape Springfieldโ€™s career behind the scenes, co-writing the English lyrics to “You Donโ€™t Have to Say You Love Me” with Simon Napier-Bell.

With Penny Valentine, she later co-authored Dancing with Demons: The Authorised Biography of Dusty Springfield. She was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire.
