Bert Broekhuis, a Dutch politician, died on February 7, 2026, at the age of 82.
A member of the Labour Party, he served in the House of Representatives from 1981 to 1982. He was mayor of Cromstrijen from 1984 to 1988, and later served as acting mayor of Bernisse from 1998 until 2000, when he became the formally appointed mayor.
Broekhuis remained in that post until June 2005.
Engelbert Willem Hendrik “Bert” Broekhuis (14 February 1943 – 7 February 2026) was a Dutch politician. A member of the Labour Party, he served in the House of Representatives from 1981 to 1982.
