He starred in all 10 episodes of Crown Prosecutor in 1995 as Lenny Monk, and was a familiar presence in series including Chancer, The Liver Birds, Where the Heart Is, Wire in the Blood and Casualty, where he played Professor Henry Williams in the programme’s 23rd series.
