Jim Čert, the Czech singer and accordionist born František Horáček, died on February 17, 2026, at the age of 69.
Born in Prague on February 25, 1956, he was known for writing ballads based on East Slavic folklore, as well as for performing popular pub rhymes and parody songs. He played the accordion and recorded under the name Jim Čert.
