Frosted, an American Thoroughbred racehorse, was euthanized on April 15, 2026, at the age of 13.
Foaled on April 18, 2012, he was a gray colt and a son of Tapit out of the graded stakes winner Fast Cookie. In 2016, Frosted set a stakes record in winning the Metropolitan Handicap and later added the Whitney Handicap.
He had previously been known for finishing behind American Pharoah four times, including a runner-up finish in the 2015 Belmont Stakes.
