Doug Camilli, an American baseball player and coach who played for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Washington Senators, died on March 16, 2026.

He was 89. Camilli played in Major League Baseball from 1960 to 1967 and again in 1969, serving as a catcher.

He threw and batted right-handed and was listed at 5 feet 11 inches and 195 pounds during his active career. The son of All-Star slugger and first baseman Dolph Camilli and his first wife, Ruth, he was born in Philadelphia while his father was with the Philadelphia Phillies. Camilli graduated from Santa Rosa High School, attended Stanford University and signed with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1957.

Douglas Joseph Camilli (September 22, 1936 – March 17, 2026) was an American catcher and coach who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1960 to 1967 and in 1969 for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Washington Senators. Camilli threw and batted right-handed, stood 5 feet 11 inches (1.80 m) tall and weighed 195 pounds (88 kg) during his active career.
