Christian Jidayi

Christian Jidayi, an Italian footballer and coach, died on February 18, 2026.

Born in Avellino, Campania, on March 3, 1987, he began his career with A.C. Cesena in Romagna.

He later moved to Bellaria – Igea Marina after leaving Cesena’s under-20 reserve team in 2006, returned to Cesena for the 2007–08 Serie B season, and played five times. Jidayi was then swapped to Mantova in a co-ownership deal on June 30, 2008, and spent half a season with the Serie B club. He was signed by Pro Patria on a temporary deal on September 16, 2015, and later served as assistant coach of San Marino from 2017 to 2019.

Christian Jidayi (3 March 1987 – 17 February 2026) was an Italian football player and coach.
