Chester Clem, an American politician and attorney in Florida, died on February 18, 2026, at the age of 88.
Chester Earl Clem Jr. was born in Sanford, Florida, on December 28, 1937.
He attended the University of Florida and was admitted to the Florida bar in 1963. A Republican, he served in the Florida House of Representatives for the 48th district from 1972 to 1976. He later ran for governor of Florida in 1986 and finished fourth in the Republican primary.
