Born in Halifax, West Riding of Yorkshire, England, he was one of twin brothers with Christopher Saint Booth and was part of a musical and filmmaking partnership that became best known for the 1986 song “Ulterior Motives.” The brothers moved to Canada in the 1970s and later worked in Los Angeles, where they formed the band Who’s Who? Booth’s work on the song later drew renewed attention in the lostwave community, where it was widely referred to as “Everyone Knows That” before its authorship was identified.
