Born in Orenburg on June 3, 1945, he became associated with the Orenburg Theatre of Musical Comedy, where he began working in 1963 as a stagehand before passing the acting selection. One of his early roles was the shepherd Andreika in the operetta “Wedding in Malinovka.”
