Goffrey A. Hardaway Sr. was born on June 18, 1954, in Meridian, Mississippi, and held a BS in finance from DePaul University. A Democrat, he served in the Tennessee House from a special election on March 13, 2007, representing District 92 until January 8, 2013, and then represented District 93 from January 2013 until his death in Nashville, Tennessee.
