Fleury Di Nallo, the French footballer who played for Olympique Lyonnais, Montpellier and the national team, died on May 13, 2026, aged 83.
A striker, he was one of the leading forwards in Division 1 in the 1960s and 1970s and remains Lyon’s top scorer. He spent 14 years at Lyon, where he was nicknamed “le petit prince de Gerland,” and played 489 games, scoring 222 goals.
He scored 187 goals in the French Division 1, including 182 for Lyon. Di Nallo was capped 10 times for France between 1962 and 1971 and scored twice on his international debut against Hungary.
