Eliana Rocha, a Brazilian actress, died on November 3, 2026, aged 82.

Born in Santos, she worked in theater, cinema and television, with theater at the center of her career. She studied law and theater, and her professional work included both stage productions and television appearances.

In 1974, Rocha joined Jandira Martini, Ney Latorraca and other artists in founding the Royal Bexiga’s Company, a theater group that mounted several productions. Her work on stage continued in 2007 with A Graça da Vida, in which she appeared alongside Nathalia Timberg, Graziella Moretto, Emílio Orciollo Netto, Ênio Gonçalves, Clara Carvalho and Fábio Azevedo. Rocha became best known to television audiences for playing Luz Divina in TV Globo’s Pé na Cova, appearing in the series from 2013 to 2016. Her work alongside actor and writer Miguel Falabella was among the collaborations that brought her recognition. Her screen credits also included the television production Negócio da China. Across these projects, Rocha moved between the theater company she helped establish, stage productions with prominent performers and television roles. Her career encompassed several forms of performance, while her work in theater remained a defining part of her professional life.
