Dave Mason, English Hall of Fame musician and songwriter known for Traffic and the songs “Hole in My Shoe” and “Feelin’ Alright?”, died on April 19, 2026, at the age of 79.
A singer-songwriter and guitarist, he came to prominence in 1967 as a founding member of Traffic. He also recorded with Derek and the Dominos and Fleetwood Mac, and his solo career included the 1977 U.S.
hit “We Just Disagree.” Mason was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.
