Dani Arditi Israeli military officer dead at age 75

Dani Arditi, an Israeli military officer, died on February 12, 2026, aged 75.

Born in Yir’on in 1951, the son of Egyptian emigrants, he enlisted in the Israel Defense Forces in 1970. He took part in Operation Sabena Flight 571 in 1972, fought in the Yom Kippur War in 1973, and served as a company commander in Operation Entebbe in 1976.

During the 1982 Lebanon War, he served as a company commander. From 1984 to 1994, Arditi held a number of positions in the Israeli Intelligence Corps. He was promoted to brigadier general in 1998 and later led the Liaison Unit of Foreign Forces and the External Relations Division in the Operations Directorate before retiring in 2002.

Dani Arditi (1951 – 12 February 2026) was an Israeli military officer.
