George Howard Bunting Jr., an American politician and member of the Delaware Democratic Party, died on February 12, 2026, at the age of 81.
He represented District 20 in the Delaware State Senate from 1996 to 2013. Bunting previously served in the Delaware House of Representatives from 1982 to 1984 and again from 1986 to 1996.
Born in Salisbury, Maryland, he died at his home in Bethany Beach, Delaware.
