Juhan Habicht, an Estonian translator and writer, died on February 12, 2026, at the age of 72.

He was a member of the Estonian Writers‘ Union and was best known for his editing work in the Estonian-language electronic science fiction magazine Algernon. Born in Nõmme in the Estonian SSR, USSR, on January 24, 1954, Habicht worked as both a translator and writer.
