Busk Margit Jonsson

Busk Margit Jonsson, a Swedish soprano opera singer, died on April 25, 2026, at the age of 96.

Born in Malung, Dalarna County, she sang many roles during her time at the Royal Swedish Opera from 1954 to 1983. In 1975, she was awarded the Jussi Björling scholarship.

Jonsson also served as guest host on the radio programme Sommar.
