Browning Nagle public figure dead at age 57

Browning Nagle

Browning Nagle, an American football player who was a quarterback in the National Football League, died on April 10, 2026, at age 57 of colon cancer.

He played for the New York Jets, Indianapolis Colts and Atlanta Falcons after being selected by the Jets in the second round of the 1991 NFL draft. Nagle played college football for Louisville after beginning his college career at West Virginia.

He also played professional football in the Arena Football League.
