
Angela Pleasence, an English actress, died on April 10, 2026, at the age of 84.
She trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and made her stage debut in 1964 as Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre. Her first major film role came in Hitler: The Last Ten Days (1973), and she later appeared in horror films including From Beyond the Grave and Symptoms (1974).
Pleasence also worked extensively in television productions and British miniseries during the 1980s and 1990s, with roles in Coronation Street and Doctor Who. Born Daphne Anne Angela Pleasence in Chapeltown, West Riding of Yorkshire, she was active in acting from 1964 until 2026.
