Rick Renick, an American baseball player who played for the Minnesota Twins, died on February 3, 2026.

Renick, whose full name was Warren Richard Renick, had a 14-year professional playing career from 1965 to 1978 and appeared in all or part of five Major League Baseball seasons from 1968 to 1972. He played third base, left field and shortstop for the Twins, and in his major league debut on July 11, 1968, he hit a home run off Detroit Tigers ace Mickey Lolich.

He finished with a .221 lifetime batting average and 122 career hits.

Warren Richard Renick (March 16, 1944 – January 31, 2026) was an American professional baseball player, manager and coach. Renick had a 14-year (1965–1978) professional playing career, including all or part of five seasons (1968–1972) in Major League Baseball as a third baseman, left fielder and shortstop for the Minnesota Twins. He threw and batted right-handed and was listed as 6 feet (1.8 m) tall and 188 pounds (85 kg).
