Pepito Rodriguez, a Filipino actor, died on February 26, 2026, at age 83.
Born Jose Maria Moreno Rodriguez on October 18, 1942, he began his acting career in 1962 and was contracted under Sampaguita Pictures. He was the second of six children and the older brother of actor Ramil Rodriguez.
Rodriguez never married, though he allowed Tony Jamandre, Jamandre’s wife, and their three children to live in his household; Jamandre had been his driver since 1982. He was also in a relationship at age 60, but they later broke up over the Jamandres’ continued stay in his home.
