Gil Aducal Morales, the Filipino comedian and television presenter known as Ate Gay, died on November 1, 2026, aged 55, from mucoepidermoid carcinoma.

Born in Manila, Morales began performing in comedy bars in 1995, including Music Box, and became known for his impersonation of actress Nora Aunor, whose nickname was Ate Guy. The character shaped his stage persona and his work in stand-up comedy, film and television.

Morales was also a member of the Singing Cooks and Waiters of Barrio Fiesta restaurant, and later performed regularly at the comedy bars Klownz and Zirkoh. On television, he co-presented Comedy Bar from 2010 to 2011 and the variety show Wowowillie in 2013.
