Gérard Biguet, a French football referee, died on April 26, 2026, at the age of 79.
Born in Jarny on June 16, 1946, he served as a FIFA referee from 1982 to 1992. Biguet officiated one match at the 1992 UEFA European Football Championship, CIS versus Germany, and also worked at the 1988 Olympic tournament in Seoul, the 1983 FIFA World Youth Championship, qualifying matches for Euro 1984, Euro 1992 and the 1990 World Cup.
He also served as a futsal referee at the 1989 FIFA Futsal World Championship.
