Amy Carr, an English footballer who played as a goalkeeper, died on March 13, 2026.
Born on April 27, 1991, she began her youth career in Arsenal’s academy in 2005 before moving to Chelsea’s academy in 2006, where she won the Centre of Excellence League Championship and the Dana Cup. She joined Reading’s senior team in 2008, later played for the Northern Illinois Huskies, and became the first All-MAC goalkeeper in NIU history in 2012.
After graduating, she joined IL Sandviken in 2014 and retired in 2015 at age 23.
