Alfred J.
Noll, an Austrian lawyer, politician and writer, died on March 16, 2026. Born in Salzburg on January 30, 1960, he earned his law degree from the University of Salzburg and later worked as a lawyer in Vienna.
He earned his habilitation at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, where he taught public law, and was named a university professor in 2013. A member of JETZT, he served in the National Council of Austria from 2017 to 2019. In 2016, he received the Austrian State Prize in the category Cultural Journalism.
