Ursula Donath, a German runner and Olympic bronze medalist, died on April 12, 2026.

She was 94. Born Ursula Jurewitz in Saldus, Latvia, she competed in the 400 metres and 800 metres as an athlete from East Germany.

Her biggest achievement came at the 1960 Summer Olympics, where she competed for the United Team of Germany and won bronze in the 800 metres. Donath also won multiple medals at the World Student Games, including gold in the 400 and 800 metres in 1954 and gold in the 800 metres in 1957.
