Terje Haugland, a Norwegian long jumper, died on May 5, 2026, at the age of 82.
Born on April 11, 1944, he finished eleventh at the 1969 European Championships, thirteenth at the 1970 European Indoor Championships and thirteenth at the 1971 European Championships. He became Norwegian champion in the long jump in 1969 and 1971 and represented Haugesund IL and IK Tjalve.
Haugland never competed at the Summer Olympics. He was the son of Eugen Haugland, the nephew of Jens Edv. Haugland and the father of Hanne Haugland.
