Born Rodolphe Daniel Jacquette in Bois-Colombes on May 18, 1948, he built a career as a scriptwriter and comics author and received the Jacques-Lob Prize. He was best known for work on the series Comanche, Kenya, Amazonia, Namibia, Cliff Burton and Das Reisch, and collaborated with illustrator Griffo on six comic albums, the last of them Chagrin, published in 2026.
Jacquette died in Colombes.
