Paul Geremia, an American blues singer and acoustic guitarist, died on March 14, 2026, at the age of 81.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island, on April 21, 1944, he was of Italian heritage. Geremia recorded his first album in 1968 and was influenced by the rural blues tradition and the folk music revival of the 1960s.
He was active as a singer, songwriter, guitarist and harmonica player from 1966 to 2026 and never recorded with electric guitar, remaining committed to acoustic playing.
