Oleksandr Dovhach, a Ukrainian military pilot and Hero of Ukraine, died on March 9, 2026.
Born in Chernihiv on May 12, 1973, he graduated from School No. 29 in 1990 and later studied at the Chernihiv Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots.
As of March 2010, he held the rank of senior navigator of an aviation brigade, was stationed in the Kyiv region, and was a second-class pilot.
