Tommy DeCarlo American singer dead at age 60

Tommy DeCarlo, an American singer and the lead vocalist for the rock band Boston, died on March 9, 2026.

He sang with the band from 2007 until his death. DeCarlo was born on April 23, 1965, in Utica, New York.

He discovered Boston at age 12, later began writing his own music, and in the 1990s recorded covers of himself singing Boston songs. After original Boston lead singer Brad Delp died in 2007, DeCarlo recorded an original song in his honor and posted it online, leading to contact from Boston management.

Tommy DeCarlo (April 23, 1965 – March 9, 2026) was an American singer who was the lead vocalist for the rock band Boston from 2007 until his death in 2026.
